The Powerful Ladies of Trinidad & Tobago hosted members of the media for the “Take it Down” Anti-Violence Campaign under the patronage of His Worship the Mayor of Port of Spain. Feature speaker for the evening was philanthropist Indrani Goradia whose foundation helps women and families affected by gender violence live empowered lives. Machel Montano gave a brief overview about the “Take it Down’ campaign vision, given the current situation we are facing as women since the death of Shannon Banfield. Closing off the the night proceedings, each partner signed the commitment to stop the violence followed by a live performance by Machel Montano and DLOXX.
