The Brian Lara Stadium in Tarouba was officially opened by The Honorable Keith Rowley, Prime Minister of Trinidad and Tobago, along with with the Minister of Sports, Brian Lara and other officials. After the opening ceremony, the Twenty20 match between a Brian Lara XI and an International XI took place much to the delight of fans. D Party Stand, put together by Air Committee and Tribe offered an all inclusive option complete with food, drinks and live entertainment.
