The pungent aromas of assorted curry and spices emanated from Pool 1 in Caura for Sangeet 106.1 annual Caurafest 2017 on Monday. Torrential showers of rain did not deter avid supporters of 106.1 and the ever popular Caura lime at the river. With the curry duck competition well on the way, competitors utilized products from sponsors to ensure that their dishes were well seasoned and didnt lack anything. Contestants received great prizes including hampers from sponsors and one lucky patron received a 10 cubic ft fridge courtesy Premium Platinum Edition. Live entertainment continued throughout the day as patrons frolicked in the rain to sounds from Ravi B, Master Salem, Balkissoon and many more artistes who passed through the venue.
