No carnival/soca extravangaza would be complete without a las lap. It was just that as soca artistes from the islands came together for the Las Lap concert on the Soca on the Seas cruise at the Orpheum Theatre. Accompanied by the Trinidad & Tobago Prisons Band, artistes showcased caribbean culture in song, dance and musical expertise sending the crowd into a frenzy. By the end of the night, patrons were off their seats, dancing in the aisles, flags waving and voices in one accord.
