Graduating students for 2017 of Waterloo Secondary School were treated to a royal ball at Grand Marquis Ballroom. The concept, design and execution of the theme was the brainchild of the alumni of the school who constructed a fairytale event for the students. After having photo-ops, students made their way to the buffet for a mouth watering meal followed by a delightful array of desserts. Following this the dance segment kicked off with tassa. DJs Sach and Kidd Frost turned up the heat on the dance floor where various prizes were distributed to dancers. The finale of the night came down to the crowning of the King and Queen, complete with all royal vestments. Voting was based on crowd approval and the night ended on a high note as the 2017 King and Queen of Waterloo Secondary took their first dance.
