The vibes was high at the Triniposse Stand for the kick off of local games for the 2017 T20 Season, of which 9 games will be held in Trinidad. Formerly known as the St. Lucia Zouks (now Stars) under the captaincy of Darren Sammy, took to the pitch first and secured 118 runs in 20 overs. Trinidad Knight Riders, with captain DJ Bravo at the helm won the game in 6 wickets with an overall score of 120 in 15.4 overs.
