Sangeet 106.1 hosted the first of its kind, the Ministerof Doubles competition at Xtra Plaza, Endeavour on Saturday. Seven (7) teams vied for the title Minister of Doubles in an interactive all-day, fun filled segment. Competitors raced against the clock to find much needed items on a list inside Xtra Foods whilst other preparations were ongoing. The odor of assorted spices, curry and oil permeated the air. Host Big Rich interacted with each team, scoping out the various techniques and giving occasional ole talk to competitors. Other highlights included a kids area, doubles eating competition for adults and children, sampling and giveaways.
