Riverside Drive Action Committee hosted their annual Divali Celebrations on Saturday night. It was a time of festivity for young and old alike as members of the community came out to share in lighting up the street.
t the main stage, live performances were done, dances, songs, tassa and a few competitions held. Pick-a-pan was a favourite, followed by the crowning of the Divali Queen and homage was paid to the elderly and other members of the community for outstanding work.
