Sangeet 106.1 the superstation touched down once more at Xtra Plaza in chaguanas to roll out the second installment of the Sangeet Minister of Doubles Competition. This annual event is an amateur doubles making competition and see competitors from all over the country attempting to be elected the minister of doubles. This prestigious title is accompanied with a volley of prizes including a cash prize of $5000.00, a chest freezer, a stay for 2 nights at the regent star hotel in piarco and a wide array of hampers from various sponsors. This year the competition came down to three competitors, Cool Addicts, Team Double Trouble and The Cyah Duck Crew. Three competitors square of in their quest to be able to called themselves the winner of sangeets minister of doubles competition. Big names in the business such as Dj Venny (Prince of Penal), Dj Vicky, Dj Din, Dj Flavio, Rashmie, Patrina are some of the celebrities who stopped by to greet our competitors as well as capture and selfie moment with adoring fans. From doubles making, doubles eating competition, bouncy castle, instant photo booths, cartoon characters and on air personalities its safe to say it was a fun filled day with absolutely no shortage of entertainment and fun.
